James A McLELLAN was b. ~1829, Co Down, Ireland, son of John McLELLAN and ......... and had arrived in south western Victoria before 1856, when he was recorded as a 26 year old labourer of Merino, S-W Victoria.
Bridget KILLEEN b. ~1837, Co. Clare, Ireland, daughter of John KILLEEN ~1802-1881 & Julia QUINN. Bridget arrived with her father, step-mother and siblings as a part of the family group of John KILLEEN (40), his wife Ellen (36) and children Bridget (15), William (5), Patrick (3), & Bridget (infant), sailed on the ship "Runnymede" from England and arrived at Melbourne, Colony of Victoria in June 1852. The family settled on "Muntham" Station, near Sandford before 1857 and three more children were born in the area.
James McLELLAN was married in Feb 1856, at the Parsonage-on-the-Wannon, S-W Victoria, Australia by the Rev, Cussack RUSSELL, to Bridget KILLEEN and they had 10 children from 1857 to 1876 in the Wannon district.
James' address was "Muntham" Station in 1859 when he advertised for the return of a lost or stolen mare.....

James McLELLAN died at Sandford, S-W Vic. in 1898 and was buried in the Sandford cemetery.
Bridget McLELLAN died in hospital at Casterton, S-W Vic. in 1923 and was also buried in the Sandford cemetery.
James McLELLAN & Bridget KILLEEN had the following known family:
